Are you interested in learning more about just who Anne LaBastille, the self-proclaimed “Woodswoman” was?
On Thursday, March 5th, the Johnsburg Library in North Creek hosts an opportunity for you to do so! This tribute, presented by Leslie Surprenant—a long-time friend of Anne’s—is in conjunction with Ricochet Duo’s The Woodswoman Project for Upper Hudson Musical Arts concert series which is being performed at the Tannery Pond Community Center on the following Sunday (March 8th at 3 pm). Leslie’s talk includes a slide show with many unpublished photos. Learn more about the amazing life of Anne LaBastille and the lasting legacy she leaves. A selection of Anne’s awards, personal belongings and books will be available for viewing.
Leslie’s presentation begins at 7:00 pm.
We hope you can join Leslie for this. It’s a wonderful talk and leads into great conversation about Anne, the Adirondacks, and much more!
